It is the same calcium produced within the dinosaur that laid them. This calcium becomes calcite over millions of years which is a crystallized form of Calcium. Even diamonds are more reproducible than the structure of real shell . The evidence of calcite are the crystals themselves. The shell of a real egg will sparkle with millions of facets. There are no additives or processes that can recreate the crystalline structure of real shell and this egg is covered with facets.
